Gustavo Arrieta fue elegido Vicepresidente del Parlasur por Argentina

El parlamentario del Mercosur por la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Gustavo Arrieta, fue elegido para ocupar por nuestro País la vicepresidencia del Parlasur a partir de enero de 2025. La decisión de designar un nuevo vicepresidente por Argentina se produce en un contexto político clave: la presidencia del Parlasur este año estará en manos de Brasil, mientras que el presidente argentino Javier Milei asumirá la presidencia prótémpore del Mercosur.

La elección de Arrieta refleja su destacada trayectoria en el Parlasur, donde durante 2024 desempeñó un rol fundamental como presidente de la Comisión de Asuntos Económicos. Bajo su liderazgo, la comisión impulsó debates clave sobre la integración regional y las políticas económicas destinadas a fortalecer los lazos comerciales entre los países miembros del Mercosur.

Durante el 2024, Arrieta fue uno de los protagonistas de la actividad legislativa regional. Con un total de 21 proyectos presentados, Arrieta no solo lideró la producción parlamentaria del Parlasur, sino que también logró consolidar su liderazgo al frente de la Comisión de Asuntos Económicos, Financieros, Comerciales, Fiscales y Monetarios (CECO), que fue la más activa del año.
